Lenses

All Cab9 sunglasses come with Polarised lenses and full UV protection. We test our lenses in the intense light conditions only found at altitude, where glare is magnified and reflected in all directions by the snow. We know that if they work on the mountain slopes, they’re going to work in all environments.

Our Technical models,The Edge and C9X, feature our Infrashield™ lens technology. With all the benefits of our standard polarised lens, InfraShield uses a patent pending technology to provide infrared protection. This offers additional protection from the sun and reduces eye fatigue, ideal for people exposed to bright sunlight for long periods like ourselves. As soon as you wear these sunnies you'll notice your eyes relaxing regardless of the intensity of the light. In addition to this, the light spectrum of the lens enhances colours compared to a regular lens, providing ultra-sharp definition.

Frames

Cab9 frames are constructed with Polycarbonate which makes them lightweight, flexible and highly resistant to impact. For our Technical models we use TR90, an extremely flexible, lightweight material which ensures a snug, comfortable fit and reduces pressure points.
